Some Prom Dress stores and websites have a dress registry, sometimes saying or implying that no one else will be wearing your prom dress at your event. But you should know that even though they may try not to sell the same dress to your event, someone at your event or school can get the same prom dress at another store across town, in the next town, or online and they can do this without knowing of your dress, or not caring. No prom store or site can prevent that. For this reason and because it is unlikely that two people from the same event will be buying the same prom dress in the same color from our site PromMart.com does not offer a prom dress registry.

Many prom dress websites and stores claim to have 1,000's of prom dresses and prom gowns. This may be true in some cases. But for the most part, it is our opinion that most are doing special orders from the designers' warehouses. Nothing wrong with that. Just be aware that even the designers can quickly run out, see below.

Finding Your 2012 Prom Dress

Prom 2012 has an exciting number of new prom dress styles, but they can quickly become scarce. We have noticed this trend for the past couple of prom seasons. So we are trying something new. If we or our affiliate store do not have the dress you want, and if it looks like we cannot get it from the designer, we will try to help you find it by contacting other prom dress websites.
